SHADOW

  After Freckles passed away in the fall of 2009, the house was too quiet and Janet said we needed to
  find a new house dog.  After a search of listings in the paper we decided to check the Kenai animal
  shelter.  That is where we found 4-month old shadow, a part German Shepard mix with husky it is 
  thought.  She was very eager for attention; 24-lb. brown with typical black mussle of a Shepard.

   She has gotten a little bigger, weighing 36-lbs. at the vet office in late December.
