SLED DOGS

Under Construction

I started mushing in 1980 with the purchase of my
first sled dog "Vida", a 5-month old Mackenzie
River Husky-Malemute mix. I later picked up
former Iditarod dogs of husky mix.

I lived in the small town of Hope, Alaska where
mushing was right from the front door of my
one-room cabin and offered the Resurrection
Creek Trail (42-miles of twisting, mountain trail,
to the town of Cooper Landing).

I volunteered on the famous Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race from 1982 to 1988.
I now have six dogs and am mostly retired as a musher.
